Rainforest Smoothie

I really love our neighborhood. It's full of friendly people and we can walk to the best bakery in Providence, the library, pharmacy, wine shop, three playgrounds, a fabulous toy store (complete with in-store train table), a great Indian restaurant, cutest retail shop, and a juice bar.

I always order one of two smoothies at the juice bar - Rainforest or Dino. But let's be honest, an $8 smoothie is not an everyday occasion. So I've mastered my at home recipe.

Rainforest Smoothie
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup baby spinach

Dylan seriously can't get enough of it. He must like a taste of the tropics because this green glass is full of sunny pina colada goodness.

3: The thing that led me here was a comment I saw you make on Cup of Jo and I just wanted you to know that I feel the same way about my daughter.

  3. Hello Sarah:) I am so glad I found your site. Our family just recently changed to a vegetarian based diet and I love your creativity with food. My family loves this smoothy. What a great way to sneak in spinach. I add protien powder to mine if im in a hurry in the morning and need to make it my meal. I have also made your beet fries and pesto and my dinner guests couldn't get enough. This week were gonna try the squash quesadillas and sweet potatoe tacos. I'll let you know how they turn out. Thank you for sharing your culinary gift with the world.

  5. Such an interesting recipe! I want to cook this. Since I bought the juicer I try to know more recipes of cakes and sweets. A fresh juice and sweets are just what you need for the summer holiday. With the juicer, the process of cooking juice is becoming so easy and faster! Besides, you can check it out here.
