Our life changing news, full of excitement and smiles, was delivered just floors away from some of Monday's victims. When we were leaving the hospital the President's motorcade pulled up - at least fifty vehicles and full swat team descending upon the hospital for the President to visit and support the recovering victims and staff at the hospital.
So this is the face of a big brother and I sure hope my boys will enjoy a peaceful world together.
In celebration of spring, I made these delicious and addicting Parmesan Asparagus Fries. Yum yum.
Parmesan Asparagus Fries
1 bunch asparagus
3 tablespoons olive oil
sea salt
3/4 cup fresh Parmesan cheese
1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
2. Trim the asparagus ends to where the spears naturally snap. Toss spears with olive oil and salt.
3. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 20-30 minutes or until crisp around the edges.

While asparagus roasts, grate Parmesan cheese onto a large tray. Roll
roasted asparagus spears in cheese, gently shake off excess, and lay on a
clean platter.
