Superfood Popcorn

I received the most adorable and delicious edible gift – a Superfood Popcorn kit. A friend packaged organic corn kernels and a a shaker full of homemade superfood topping into a pretty white bowl.

This would be the perfect healthful snack gift for a new neighbor, favorite school teacher, or hostess. I find myself packing more snacks and lunches these days. The sun is finally out to enjoy eating at the playground and my growing belly can only go hours before it needs to be fed. If you want to sneak some superfood into your kids this is a great way to do it.

The superfood shake mixture is made from spirulina (rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants), nutritional yeast (a good source of vitamin B12), and salt. Such a fun and yummy way to get some goodness in your body.

I shared this recipe with Liz's reader at Say Yes to Hoboken so click here for the full recipe - enjoy!
